A lifelong New Yorker, Tara came to Scarsdale Pilates (formerly Center For Movement) with an interest that quickly turned into a passion. She was initially seeking a low impact toning workout that could possibly help with her scoliosis and was so amazed by the results that she decided to pursue her own career as a trainer. While working on her certification she was constantly intrigued by how many layers there are to seemingly “simple” movements. It became clear that Pilates is much more than a workout, it’s a learning process that changes as you get stronger, grow older, have children, and anything else life throws at you. It’s an adaptable lifelong practice you can always rely on. She’s enthusiastic about sharing the knowledge she has acquired with clients and helping them meet all their fitness goals, whatever they might be, with truly Classical Pilates.
