Cathy graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Education and earned an M.S. in Guidance and Counseling from Hunter College. In 1999, several months after having her youngest child, Cathy began practicing twice weekly Pilates sessions at the Center for Movement (now Scarsdale Pilates). As a lifelong skier she returned to the slopes after many Pilates sessions and noticed a total transformation in her core strength and how it helped improve her skiing. Having transformed her post-pregnancy body and at the same time built up an incredible new strength, she became devoted to her Pilates sessions. After 18 years of practicing Pilates, and with her children grown, she returned to the Center for Movement as an apprentice in their Teacher Training program. She is a classically trained and certified teacher. She enjoys helping clients feel good in their bodies.
